Thanks for the add! I just bought a 1970, 500 CC Trophy T100C. I’m really looking forward to learning about these bikes and restoring it. I’ve been riding for many years and currently have a BMW and 2-HDs. What are the first books/manuals I should buy to start?

Welcome to the forum - and to the machine! The 500 Triumph is a really sweet, smooth bike, if a little underpowered in a modern setting, and it is the direct descendant of Turner's ground breaking Speed Twin engine of the 1930's. I have no idea of when this was first posted but can't imagine that the bike is still available. It might, however, give you a clue as to what your bike might have looked when it first turned a wheel on US soil! You might also be aware that there are some VERY talented, knowledgeable and helpful people on this forum who will be able to provide invaluable advice and information - there's a couple of restoration threads already running on here that may inspire you to get stuck in as quickly as you can - RTFM first!
