Hi all, I’m Graham and new to Forums,I’ve just got myself a Triumph Bonneville T120 hope to bring something to the forum
Hi all, I’m Graham and new to Forums,I’ve just got myself a Triumph Bonneville T120 great looking bike and goes well part from chugging around at low speed. What I have round is the engine is a lean engine burn and the chugging at low speed is the result. And this can be corrected by fitting a booster plug which I’ve ordered, By fitting this unit will it pass MOT and also do I need to remove the CAT and put in U bend cross over pipe? Thanks for your help .
Hi and welcome Graham, I can't see why it should not an MOT the Booster plugs help to smooth things out not change the fuelling drastically
Graham James Ball. Welcome to the family. And no it won't affect your mot. 99% of test centres won't test a motorcycle for emissions and it won't change any thing drastically. Personal choice i would not change the cat. I found that the x boxes transfer the exhaust noise to directly below the engine and it gets to your ears. Just do the air filter for a free flow filter get rid of the snorkel on the filter box and you will notice immediately the change in you steed free flowing and deeper tone. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your new steed. Regards & Enjoy Joe.
