    Hello everyone!
    I am Emilio and I am proud owner of a 2009 Bonneville SE, which I modified with my own hands. It is only 5 months I am riding it and I am deeply in love with it. It is my first motorbike and we already made 7000 km together.
    I registered om this forum hoping you can help me.

    I have been living in London for 5 years (I am Italian), last year my wife and me decised to go back to Italy but we are missing UK so much! So we are planning to be back in London soon... we are in touch with our previous employers hoping in some vacancy... on the meanwhile I'd like to ask the users of this forum if you have any experience of importing a foreign bike to UK. Please let me know your experiences and thank you for your answers!

    See you at the Ace Cafe!! Can't wait!;)

    Hi Emilio and welcome to the Triumph forum. Importing a motorbike into the UK? Easy I think. I am normally doing it the other way, but the same principles apply :

    You will need the following :

    1. Your original registration document, from the country where it is currently registered. I'm guessing the bike is currently on Italian plates?

    2. A UK technical controle - it is called an MOT;

    3. The invoice when you first purchased the bike;

    4. A road tax certificate.

    You send these documents to the DVLA, Swansea and will receive a UK registration document usually within 3 weeks approx.

    Hello people!! Thank you so much for your welcome into this group! During UK MOT test the emissions aren't checked right? 'Cause.... anyway! I think the whole process is about 100 quid right??

    I am not referring to headlight alignment but the prism built into the lens. Some dip straight down but some dip down and left or down and right, depending on national rules.
