Hi Mr O, did you see the short film on the new Street triple? Personally I think it looks pretty much the same as the old one but obviously with a bigger output and a new speedo. Test rode the 2016 model before Christmas but unfortunately not for me.

If it's like the 1050 updates, i.e. they already know the basic engine/chassis pretty well, they'll hopefully be well sorted.

The T120's will get there once they iron out the problems found by the Beta Testers who bought them last year.

Just got the email here stateside. Looks like Speedy has a little naked brother. As an aside while reading it I note they mention the adjustable suspension. Great stuff if you weigh in at 140 to 160 lbs. and useless for me at 225 lbs. I just yesterday completed a survey from Triumph and chided them / marked their score lower for the lack of support re: suspension upgrades - not just for a barrel chested git like me but also for those of us who desire to add tour accessories such as panniers and the like. I certainly do not mean to disparage this new bike and if it is lighter and lower than our Speedy with a nice bump in HP then I hope it is awesome for the buyers. Will help the 750 racing class guys a lot as well.

The RS version would seem to be a direct competitor for the Speed Triple, it's about 10hp down but a lot less weight.
Be interesting to see which way sales go.

Maybe the Street is the new Speed and a new (150bhp+) Speed is on the cards???
