Any one test ridden the new Speed Twin yet? I got to sit on it at the local dealer and could of taken it out but wasn't in the mood. I did sit on it and the front suspension felt very stiff so didn't bode well for it working with me on it.

So far I haven't even seen one much less ridden one. Still on the fence.

Apart from the black I think that, once again, Triumph have done a terrible job on colours and tank graphics. They seem obsessed with matt colours across the range

took one out today for an hour's test ride. suspension felt a little stiff compared to what I was used to from the scrambler 1200XC but was ok, front brakes squeeled at slow speed when coming to stop, side stand was hard to locate, clutch felt heavy but I did have my trainers on, engine and acceleration felt great, overall good and I'll be thinking long and hard about getting it.

Baz70, the bike is ace. It’s especially good around town slipping through traffic with an accompanying rorty blatt from the pipes, but I took mine on a long trip to Oregon and that was good too.

The upgraded bike is more of the same, but a little better. I wouldn’t trade in to get these improvements, but it’s still a terrific tool.

However… Triumph hasn’t fixed the squeaky brakes? That is my ONLY complaint about the bike. I even went to my dealership and said, “Fix this. I don’t care what it costs,” and they couldn’t do it, so I just live with it.
