Rode her home from the Wirral to Oldham tonight. I should have worn more layers but still enjoyed it. Needs tweaking to my personal preference for clutch biting point, lever angles etc but was really good fun and the engine seems sweet. The back caliper is seized so will need to remedy that before MOT on 19th Oct

The photos are quite flattering. It’s been stood for 12 months so there are lots of cobwebs and some surface rust to deal with. With a wash and a polish she’ll be a beauty. It has heated grips that I’ll be taking off as I’m not a fan. Will try to source a lock set eventually too, as it has a different key for ignition, tank and seat lock at the moment which is a bit of nuisance. It’s been 5 years since I rode regularly so I’m just going to take it easy and get to know the bike’s capabilities and limitations (as well as my own )
