Welcome. Both excellent bikes, all depends on what you find and at the right price. I would have had either Tbird or America, just the fact an America came up with all the goodies, low mileage and the right price.
Whichever you go for, you'll love, both great bikes.
Whatever anyone else says, blue ones are the best ;):D

It's got to be black or Matt silver, the only problem I can see with the thunderbird is the side stand as I'm not the tallest at 5,5,I've had a goldwing in the past so weight shouldn't be a problem

Hi Tony welcome in, I have a 2011 Tbird and I'm your height although I claim 5' 6"
the side stand is challenging at first but gets easier as you learn to slide your butt slightly :D
worth mentioning I have the long haul seat which is very comfortable but also have the single riders
seat which sits you a little lower down making side stand easier, you can also fit lower shocks if you want
to lower the bike slightly believe there 12.5" know you would need to check on that.

PS One of our members on here has a beautiful speedmaster for sale if your interested

see here - If interested speak to Dozers Dad on this Forum :D:D

Ahem 5' 6" I said I admit to, don't make me shorter FFS, Anyway good things come in little packages, worse thing is my bloody width is catching up with my height (or lack of it :D:D:D:D.
And yes I'm ready for the onslaught, even if its undeserved :rolleyes:

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Mr O is correct - blue is the best colour closely followed by orange.

IF you are colour blind or devoid of taste:p

Seriously, you'll need to do a test ride, won't you.

Indupitably, Blue and Orange are easily the best coloured motorbikes. Never been in doubt, ever.

And when combined, make THE greatest race livery EVER!!!

Believe it or not - This WAS my first car I ever bought !!!!
This car in the picture, took me 9 years to restore to the best in the UK, at the time.
I think this may have had started with the 'Orange' thing !!!
