Hi All, Stumbled on this forum whilst researching sprag clutch issues. I have acquired a 1998 Tiger Steamer that I have taken to France, Ireland (NW 200) and Wales this summer. Although very top heavy, I do love it. I think as it is a late one, the sprag clutch is the bigger more robust one.Replaced the awful air filter with KNs and once I got the jetting correct, it goes well and does 55 mpg. Other bikes, 1956 Lambretta LD 150 (Dads as a student), 1962 Velosolex, 1960 BSA c15 (owned 37 yrs), 1975 Honda ST70, 1978 Guzzi Le Mans 1 (owned for 32 years). None for sale! So the new Tiger is a leap of technology. Born 1962, live near Cheltenham. Giles

Giles Jackson Welcome to the family. You got some terrific machinery there. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right of topic and pray let us see some of the steeds. Here in the asylum we like pictures of bikes, babes and bikes or anything. Keeps us quite while nursey administers our meds. She like them to as she gets an easy round. You will fit in just nicely here and quickly find out this bunch of nutters are really nice nutters and very helpful after the meds. Ride Safe & Enjoy. Joe.
