Hi David, I'm also 67, just got a T120 Diamond Edition, and live in Overland Park, KS. I agree it could be my last new bike purchase. I've had a few bikes over the years, and unquestionably and sort of surprisingly, this is the best of them by a mile.

    Bikes I've had:
    Italian Moped [Mondial?]
    Hodaka 100B [a joy]
    Kawasaki 125 two-stroke [stolen]
Honda Elite 150 Scooter [plastic bits expensive..]
    Ossa Stiletto [ferocious]
BMW K75S [like riding a kitchen appliance; top heavy too]
BMW R1150R [great bike; regret selling]
Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200R [nice until tank slapper nearly killed me]
Honda RC51 [truly great sport tourer]
Moto Guzzi Griso [character all over the place, but scary handling under 10 mph]
Ducati Monster 821 [certainly energetic, if not much else]
Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring [HEAVY; momentary lapse, since corrected]

If the bike you're considering is sitting at RideNow, I've seen it. I noticed they have the blue at Engle Motors in KCMO.

My advice, get the Bonneville and love it! See you on the road. Norm

Well, I fell like you are following me. I was at RideNow And was negotiating for the orange bike. While I was doing the bargaining thing, they sold it. I was quite annoyed. But, all things come around. I bought the blue one at Engle today. I get it Saturday. I like the blue better anyway. We should meet for coffee if the virus ever ends. Where did you get your bike? Where do you go for servicing?

Thanks to all who welcomed me. It appears there are several old farts on this forum. Good to know. But, how late did you start riding? I was 50. I figured I better start or I’d never get it done. First bike was a Royal Enfield bullet 500. Thump, thump, thump.

I'm a old phart KS farm boy so I had to wait until I was 9. That was 51 years ago. Had some new tires mounted at the dealership, and spotted a new street triple RS, since it was my riding anniversary I thought I deserved my first new bike. Congrats on your new bike.

    Welcome from shady Iowa.
Hope you enjoy the new ride and have fun choosing parts. For me it is the process that counts. If you get this far east, look me up for a beer and pleasant conversation.

It is a little more than 90 degrees (F), I just rode my first 62 miles. I'm hot, sweaty, a little tired, but happy to be home with my new Bonneville T120. The bag on the seat was just to get papers home. I expect to get different luggage at some point.
