Hi y'all, just got an explorer xrx low, as I'm quite low myself. Just getting to grips with it. It's a very big change from my Harley Nightrod. I like the bike so far, but find the height a bit daunting, folks tell me I'll get used to it. I'm s**t scared of dropping it, when going real slow, so any advice would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum Guy.
When going real slow just keep your feet off the pegs close to the floor just in case.
Treat the bike with respect, but be the boss!

Hi Guy. Great bike mate. I have one of the standard height, and yes they are very droppable if you're not careful - oh and don't get fecking arthritis in your hips. Also don't use the side stand on a camber or slope, the feckers have a habit of rolling forward off the stand as a few of us have found.

Thanks for all the welcomes, next question, can anyone recommend a top box, that looks OK on the explorer, but is NOT one of those big aluminum givi adventure style things?? I'm only gonna need it for the odd weekend trip, and the adventure ones r really pricey

    Hi and welcome in.
The Explorer is a heavy bugger (that's why I went for the 800XRx). Still managed to drop that though!:mad:
