Well I went to the dealership to look at my new bike. It's a beauty I think. Timeless and classic. Still working out some details but the heated grips and centerstand are on it. I ordered the panier brackets for it, I'll be looking to the aftermarket for the bags though. I picked up a copy of the deal with all the numbers and off to my bank I went, so now they have all the information needed.
One of the first in the new agean blue and white color.
    Serial number 4000.

Pretty narrow, until I hang the bags on it, lol.

it has great ergos, low seat height and an easy reach to the bars. Very comfortable. I'm 5'9" and I can easily flat foot it with bent knees.

I look like a fat old wrinkled grey haired Marlin Brando from that classic movie, lol.

I'm one happy old man. 20230107_110812.jpg
Now it's time to add some stuff to it and make it mine. When I get it home that is. Still snowy and cold here in Michigan.

It's a beaut! Enjoy! I have a T100 and wish it it had chrome or Bruch nickel rims.

The new Bonnie has aluminum rims, very cool. I go to take care of the money part of it this Saturday, I'm so happy and excited about getting this bike. It probably won't come home yet, still crappy weather here in Michigan.

Yup, it looks good and lovely colours. Now get rid of those crap tyres before you fall off.

Yeah I have heard a lot of stuff about those tires. I'll probably ride them for a bit but they are definitely on my change list. Just not sure which tires I'll go with yet, maybe avons, or michelins.

Great bike! Good luck with "the money part" this weekend, Greg. And have fun! I always say that there's nothing like a new motorcycle to make you feel like a little kid again. Or is it a bicycle? Hmmm.... I didn't have a motorcycle when I was a little kid.

Anyway, enjoy patting and polishing your bike and also the fun and excitement of deciding how to make it your own with mods and parts. The snow will be gone and the sun back out one of these days!

Nice looking bike. Take a look at the Burly throwover bags, just installed them on my 2020 T120. Very nicely made and not too big.

Those are nice bags and do look good. But I'm looking for a larger bag, I'll probably go with something from viking bags. I've seen them and I like their construction. I usually go with function over form, lol.
I do like the look of the burley, I just don't know if I could stuff a jacket in them.

I'm currently at the bank to give them the rest of my down payment and then pick up a fat check to take to the dealership.
    Exciting day for me!

Well I now own a new bonneville! I have a plate, registration, insurance and a payment date,
And triumph gives you a cool folder book thingy to keep the manuals and documents in.

Kinda cool to have a place to keep all your documents and receipts together for the bike, lots of pockets.

And they give you 2 extra lock cylinders, but I don't know why.

1 extra key and a metal tag with the key code.

So now I'm shopping for tires, I'm going to change them right away because it still has the crappy pirelli tires on it that everyone hates. So when I was looking at bikes on the showroom floor I noticed all the new bonnevilles come with Michelin tires now, figures, mine was built before the changeover.

So I've been doing some research on the tires. The Michelin road classics that they are putting on the new Bonnie's are still pretty new and theres not a lot of testing or reviews on them. I think I'm wanting the Avon spirit tires but they are out of stock everywhere here in the states. So I might just have to take the bike with the crappy pirellis and change to the Avon's when I can get them. I was hoping to get them changed before delivery but sometimes things dont always go as planned.
