Hello All, Just returned home after buying my first Triumph and very pleased with that decision. Its a latest spec' Tiger 800 XCx in metallic white fitted with a few options including adventure panniers in black and a centre stand I had a test drive and loved the smooth power delivery, handling and balance of the bike together with the easy-to-use controls and comfortable riding position. After riding a KTM 690 Adventure R, for the last 4 years, it;s nice to put both feet flat on the floor! I was really impressed with the finish and quality of the components when I called into the Triumph stand at the NEC - something I don't think I would have said a few years ago. I was thinking of a new 1090 KTM Adventure but came across and ad for my Triumph whilst surfing last night. I was able to compare the two side-by-side today abd both are great bikes - but for me, the Tiger seemed sharper and fitted my style much better. Lots to research now to get everything set up for a trip to The Pyrenees in May A happy Monday!
