Scrolling thru the various screens with the info button I have 2 screens displaying the MPG
    The 1st is always zero.
The 2nd displays the current MPG as expected.

Question is why do I have 2 MPG displays & why is one always blank?

One is average mpg and the other is current (the one showing as zero when the image was captured). It’s a live/real time figure whilst riding.

On the SS, and possibly other models, there's also a "miles left to refuel" readout.
On a ride on the SS the other night the fuel light came on at 102m and at 142m it was down to 4 miles left on the refuel readout. I pulled over and put in the extra litre of fuel I carry but the refuel readout didn't change but just counted down to zero with - - then showing on the display. However, when I filled the tank around 5m later the refuel readout went to 160, then down to 157m in the space of a few hundred yards. Out of curiosity I have previously run the bike out of fuel at 157m!! Apart from the refuel readout that is pretty good accuracy although It appears the refuel countdown readout doesn't monitor the actual fuel level in the tank directly but is programmed to countdown xx miles after the fuel light comes on.....

....Sometimes I think I really do have too much time on my hands!:joy:

One of my fave features on long rides. The Speedy doesn't have a large tank but I do carry a couple of litres in the pony.
