Moving Ignition.

My first post here! So I got a 2012 Triumph America 865. She's great but I am not a fan of the stock placement of the ignition behind my left thigh. How hard is it to move it? Maybe in front or up near the controls?

Any advice welcome.

 

This is where it should be I think - hence the modification on my Bonneville.

 

I moved mine on 09 America, up near the centre of the handle bars, put switch block in a 1.8 mm thick aluminium plate, I got auto electrical shop to lengthen the wires.
Works fine 9 years later !!
