ive searched and can’t find a thread for this so apologies if there is one .however have read on the internet that I’m not the first to have my headlight lens melt! I left my speedtriple to warm up and noticed the smell of burning plastic coming from both lenses, I’m taking this as my fault as I replaced the bulbs with brighter ones however this was in the summer and not had anything happen! The trouble I’m having is finding replacements! eBay only have ones that are damaged like mine, does anyone know If you can buy just the glass as I don’t need th whole unit? Thank you all in advance
Are there any screws attaching the lens to the bowl? Have you asked your local dealer? Or PM me on Wednesday and I'll check for you when I'm back at work.
If you’ve put brighter bulbs in then that’ll be the most probable extra heat source thats caused your problem
