Just a reminder, those two pinch bolts on the Speed Triple really hold that front wheel spindle in place good n tight

Don't forget to loosen them first before using that 170cm bar breaker on the 1/2 to 3/8 adapter!

Yeah, £7 off Amazon for four adapters....
Would have been okay if I was paying attention

Just got my Halfords discount card today, may take a look at their options

Bit of a different tack and funny but when I was a kid I had a CB450 black bomber. Mine was actually red though so I suppose I should call it a red bomber. Anyway I had the r/h spark plug out but still connected to the ht lead. The ignition was switched on as I was testing for a spark. I was very very slowly turning the engine by gently operating the kick-start with my left hand while holding the spark plug in my right. The b'stard only went and started on one cylinder with the petrol left in the carb. So I got quite a shocking experience as it was several seconds before I could get my hand to release the plug.

reminds me of when (naughty i know) i got a mate to tell me if my bike had a spark, pity he was holding the plug lead with spark plug still attached and a spark it did have, amazing that the electrical gremlin fixed itself at that moment that's what friends are for imho.
