I am looking for a lowering kit but there seems to be some misunderstanding here. Daytona history says the 2001 model has a single swing arm but my bike is a 2001 (Y) reg with a twin swing arm. according to all data the double swing arm never came out until 2002. Therefore I am struggling to buy the correct lowering kit. has anyone lowered their bike or can inform me if the 2002 lowering kit will fit my bike.

    Thank You
    Ian

You should be able to check the year of manufacture through the frame number, Number plates are year of registration, yours might have been one of the first to get registered. My car had a 54 plate but was a '55 model
