I've just ordered a lowering kit from Lust Racing for my 2017 XCA. Originally ordered the 40mm one but changed to their 20mm one to avoid side stand and centre stand issues. Has anyone fitted a lowering kit to the latest version yet ? I fitted one to my 2013 Tiger 2050 Sport which was an easy job. The only difference I can see is the new suspension set up but Lust provide a new link rod to compensate for the drop.

Where does the tie bar come into the lowering?

it replaced the factory fitted one linking the swing arm with the semi auto suspension link. only supplied for bikes that have TSAS. Kit is easy to fit, the most time consuming part is lowering the front forks.

Had one fitted on my 2013 Explorer. Trouble is, I had a hugger fitted and found the lowering kit made the rear sit on hugger mounting, wearing and scraping the left side edge of the tyre. Removed hugger then put standard links back on but haven't got round to refitting hugger yet to see if now clear of the tyre
