Ok my speed triple arrived Thursday couldn’t get out on it until yesterday but already loving it feels agile ,pulls like a train and the low boy arrow system sounds kin gorgeous, however just a few niggles back brake is worse than useless is this common on these bikes ,and bar end mirrors move about anyway of tightening them ? Also does. Anyone know of anywhere I can buy venture guard kits from cheers

What year is the bike, some early ones had poor rear brakes but later ones were improved. Maybe it just needs a good clean and some new pads? With the disc being fairly close to the sprocket it can become contaminated with chain lube leading to a loss of friction.

Hi it’s a 16 plate pads seem to have plenty of meat on them so they could have got contaminated
I’ll try and bleed it and clean pads before I order a new set ,cheers

It might help to replace the brake fluid as well, that's high on my priority list right now.

Hi Sam, I've got a 2015 Speedy and the rear brake is like a chocolate teapot, haven't got around to getting it sorted but it would be great to pop it on here if you find a solution, other than that, cracking bike.

I had a 2010 Speedy and put the low temp non sintered pads in the rear which are softer and work without needing heat plus bed in better . They worked well ..
