As it's looking to be a nice day, thought I'd pop to Loomies for tea and a butty tomorrow about midday.

It would be nice if a few of us could get together. I will be riding from tolworth then heading over Worthing way afterwards, and I’ll be wearing a red rose with a copy of the times under my arm riding a blue thruxton!

 

I'll be on the Bonnie probably, no red rose but look for the TC number plate

 

B@st@rds! some of us gotta work!!! if its a very long lunch I be going past about 8pm as meeting a few mates after work & we'll be out that way.

Just a heads up for anyone going, Hampshire/Thames Valley constabularys are having a speeding crackdown.
Probably just as well I'm on the Bonnie....


This week (Monday 16th – Sunday 22rd) @ThamesVP + @HantsPolice will be highlighting to motorists that there is no such thing as safe speeding.

 

I'm up for it - do you want me to bring the tank bag TC?

 

Will be on the Bonnie if I manage to replace the rear brake pads!

 

Cheers for that, TBH we do get a move on, and in the height of the season when lots of bikes are out we usually try and avoid the A272 & A32 as Police know if the set up there they will have a field day. But this evening will have to be good or suffer the consequences!

 

They seem to be having a bit of a crackdown up here too, The drivers are pretty good up here though,plenty of flashing headlights to warn you

Went posh with ham, egg n chips this time, trying to impress TC!! Great ride out and back and very hot!

 

Couldn't have got a better day for it.

The ham, egg and chips was very nice, got home to find the afternoon had disappeared !

Went past Loomies about 8pm and it was heaving, the layby on the other side of the road was full as well, we weren't stopping anyway, but would have struggled to get in I reckon.
Couldn't believe how many bikes were out last night, didn't see any police but given the way some of the idiots were riding they will be present shortly.

 

When you say posh, do you mean that put parsley on your plate?

 

Blimey!! I wouldn’t go that far, just the fact it was food you needed a knife and fork for!

 

First warm Wednesday of the year it’s to be expected, if you get there early and get your bike in the carpark, park it wisely or you may not get out, funnily enough I stopped at rykas on the way home at about 6 and there were only about a dozen bikes there!
