As you may have seen in another post I have a small issue with the L/H exhaust. It seems that the gap between the rear footrest and the top of the exhaust is minimal.

I thought I had it but after some faffing it's still the same. Thing is viewed from the rear the pipes look at pretty much the same height which tells me that that's the way it should be.

The right has a lot more clearance under the footrest.

Plus the centre stand clonks against the pipe in that small recess on the L/H exhaust when it looks as though it should come to rest against the exhaust mounting bracket.

Whose going to check their Hinckley for me? Please.

Have a look at www.worldoftriumph.com in the 'parts' section to see if your exhaust has all the relevant bits - Trident exhausts have a large rubber bung on the silencer for the stand to smack into.
As for your gap issue, a Yorkshireman's Tweezer, aka a 5lb lump hammer, is usually delicate enough to create a bit extra clearance where necessary. N.B. I've not seen the relevant post as yet, so I may, as often happens, be talking utter bollox once again. But hey, I'm happy enough!:)
