So this weekend I took my recently acquired 2006 tiger 955i for a 70 mile ride including a bit of motorway. For a bike that had been pretty neglected and standing outdoors by precious owners it felt pretty good. I did note a smell of oil and it is coming g from a point where a braided hose connects with the oil cooler. Hoping it is just in need of new washers. Assume I have to drain the oil to repair and also a question about replacing the oil. Does the oil cooler need to be primed in any way after such a repair?

Oil cooler should be on the return line so no need to prime.
