Your thread title is bang on the money for me. I sort of get the Russian case for NATO being a stone's throw from them and how that might be hard to accept, should it happen. But Ukraine used to be called the bread basket of the Soviet Union, and I'm sure all those fertile cornfields have not gone unnoticed either. But we've slapped a couple of oligarchs' money around a bit, and maybe we'll stop Russkis sending their kids to our public schools in due course.....
