@johne They are terrific bikes. I used to watch my son race his 765 with my heart in my mouth. The Tuono I don't know about other than i have a friend with one of the first versions and he would never sell it.
@joe mc donald What a fun thread! Thanks for starting it, Joe. As @Mrs Visor said, this is (after all) a Triumph forum so I'll start off with the Triumph love-of-my-life, my 2019 Speed Triple RS. This is the bike I've had the longest of any motorcycle I've owned to date. In November I'll have had it for 7 years, a record for me. Here's how I feel about Speedy. I'm also extremely happy with the two Harleys I currently have, my "Fast Johnnie" Low Rider ST (blue) and my 2024 Street Glide (orange). The Low Rider is great fun to ride and has "special edition" paint job which is a nod to my love of muscle cars. The Street Glide is perfect for hubby and my road trips and longer tours. But as Joe says, I love them all! Johnnie on Mt. Lemmon My Street Glide and me a couple of weeks ago near Sturgis in Spearfish Canyon
These are my 3 current steeds, all an absolute joy to ride in their natural habitat. ZZR1400, bought new in 2012 and now sat at around 38k miles and not used that much these days since the Triumph stole my heart! Just can't sell it though. Husaberg FE570, bought new in 2010 and just the thing when I fancy a dirty weekend. Tends to get more use in Winter. This and the ZZR are the bikes I've kept the longest in over 40yrs of riding. When you find a bike you really love it becomes a keeper. My newest and current favourite road ride, 2024 Scrambler1200X, just shy of 8K miles and counting. Apart from a fuel pump fail on the Berg at 4 months old, replaced under warranty, no real issues on any of the bikes.
@Sandi T Yes and you have some stunning bikes. Triumph and Harley have always been close relatives over your part of the world. Sometimes i think you all give Triumph more love that we do here were the bike come from. That is why manufacturers find it a troublesome market and don't put any effort into pleasing moaning England. But you have great bikes.
@Pegscraper You have a great collection and i clearly see the affection you have for the bikes. All stunning.
