Former Honda and Harley rider made the switch today to an '03 Bonneville America. Rode it 2 hours home and didn't know I could smile for 2 hours straight.

Great bike and fantastic intro. Nursey will treat you well with the meds tonight here in the asylum. The inmates will surely ogle that beastie for ages. And great picture thanks for sharing.

Wow - Triumph owners a bit more welcoming than Harley owners were. Thanks for the welcomes. If it's not sacrilegious, I'm thinking of replacing the floorboards with pegs. Not a biggie, but never had floorboards and they feel weird to me. I ordered a new "clevis" assembly as it looks like mine aren't there.

Welcome to a terrific forum and a great bunch of folks, Balchie! Great photo of a lovely bike. Welcome also to the Triumph family.

If I may make a suggestion, give the floorboards a try for a bit to see if you wind up liking them. The first time I had a bike with them they felt weird but I really grew to like and appreciate them.
