Hello everyone, thanks for allowing a newbie to Triumph in to your group. My name is Reg and I live on the Great Ocean Road in Oz. I've just gone and committed to a Rocket 3 GT, without riding one and having fairly bad memories of the previous model. The dozens of reviews that I've read tell me that it should all be ok. [I hope] A lot of bikes, the last three being GS's have come my way, but since a right knee replacement 2 years ago, my knee doesn't bend as well as it should, which made it necessary to go for forward controls. Hello and welcome! I have heard of the Great Ocean Road but never visited Oz, so just had a Google - what an amazing road to ride on, the views look fantastic.
You may know the family,, Christian feetham is my cousin, I believe he is pretty well known in the area, his mum Barbara lived on the property and operated a tearoom for years along with her mum n dad, gladys&norm hendrickson. I spent happy times there waiting on the tables and chatting up the Sheila's who loved my Scottish accent
