Hello Tim. Is it doing anything at all when you turn key, I mean does it try to start or just nothing at all?
Hi cLuMpY Thanks for your reply. This may get longwinded pls bear with me Turns over wont fire up no spark Its not ecm. Been tried on another bike Side stand switch seems ok Fuel pump /relay seem ok A little water in tank i would say not enough to stop a mighty triumph in its tracks lol This is where im uppto Cheers tim
Sorry for not replying but lots going on at home or lack of home due to flood lol. I'm guessing you have tried fuel pump/line. I see it's now started so may have been dirty filter or blocked line. Anyway hope it continues running!
cLuMpY thanks for the reply I have borrowed a fault code reader & have 3 faults apparently(electronics= white magic) P0113 P0463 & P0105 Dont know what they are if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated Cheers tim
Had a very quick look for codes but only found some on the image below. Clicked the media files but you need to be a member to download them, sorry but no time to join and get them but you can of course.
The 955i's have two small outlet pipes that allow air to the fuel cap and the injectors. These are located by the fuel lines that push into your tank right side at the lowest part of the tank and just behind the side fairing these get blocked and the bike will not start or will start and run for a short time. Just get a stiff piece of wire and push it into the outlets as far into the tank as poss and blow these to make sure they are clear. Just a thought as this has happened to me twice. Good luck Joe.
