Beautiful day! Rode down to Sea Isle City, NJ for a beer and a bite at the Dead Dog Saloon. About a 55-mile jaunt. After we parked, we were standing by the bikes talking and I noticed the right turn signal lens on the Speedmaster was missing. My buddy Tony, who was riding behind, me said he saw something fly off the bike as we made the turn off Rt. 9 into town but couldn't tell what it was. He said it bounced across the street into the opposite lane. Damn! When I was riding Harleys, I was used to parts falling off, LOL! This was disappointing. Now, I'll have to hunt around on the web for a new lens.
After scouring the web and finding the lenses on several sites. I found that they were running about $40 and you had to buy a set of two. No used ones on Ebay. I called my dealer, Quaker City Motorsports in Philly. $8 for a single lens, plus $5 shipping. Happy now.
The new lens arrived yesterday. I posted in the Tech section regarding the installation, which turned out to be not so straightforward and a bit tricky.
