Is This Normal?

I bought a genuine gel seat for my 08 Speed from worldoftriumph / lints and this is how it looks when fitted.





This is how the original seat fits.




I've had it about 8 months and only just realised how bad it is - do I have any shot at a replacement? Did they send a wrong / badly made item?

 

Got to look away, I'm going to have an OCD break down if I look at that again!

I wouldn't be happy at all with it, but I don't think you have any recourse with the supplier, having used it for 8 months

It's deffo fitted correctly. I thought they sent one for a Tiger or summat but no.

It looks way worse in the flesh! I can't live with it.

I’ve emailed them. Not holding my breath.

Maybe I can claim under warranty.

 

Have you compared the original seat to the gel seat to check size and fitting location on the bottom of the seat pan and padding height?

 

Sorted it. The tab has broken and is allowing it to lift.
