Took this road on the Bike Safe course, known locally as Little Switzerland, and considered by police bikers as possibly the best in Hampshire. If you start at Loomies, turn right at the lights and head towards Petersfield on the A272. Go straight on at the A3 roundabout and then take the first exit at the next roundabout - road is called Bell Hill. Follow this up to Steep and you reach a cross roads by the Cricketers pub - if there is traffic ahead, pull over onto the forcourt of the premises opposite the pub and leave a big gap. When clear off you go - the road comes back out onto the A32 so turn left and drop back down the hill to Loomies. (watch the right hander in the woods). So good we did it twice!
Thanks Steve, I am constantly heading up the a272 and back between A3 and Loomies and wanted a different route to break the monotony. I will try that next time.
