Hi I've just got hold of a 96 Triumph Trophy 1200 as a project. Does anyone have a workshop manual that I could get a hold off. Where is the best place to get parts? (petrol knob carb kits etc) Thanks Paul

For bits and pieces look at www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk or Sprint Manufacturing at www.triumphparts.gbr.cc as well as the parts section of www.worldoftriumph.com which shows exploded diagrams of various bits plus availability and (are you sitting down?) Triumph prices. There are several breakers supplying used spares as well - google is your friend. Enjoy your project.
Get a metal tap as this rubbish ethanol boosted petrol expands the o rings and the plastic tap just collapses. On the net about £25. Another thing the ethanol does is dissolves the tank lining, it looks like shredded Sainburys carrier bag and clogs the filter, small pieces get through and bung up the carb jets.
