Hi From Hertfordshire

    Hi there
    Thought I'd join up and introduce myself. I've been riding bikes for 40 years, still loving every minute of it, and recently bought my first Triumph since I had a Tiger Cub in 1977!
    I'm a big Classic bike fan, have raced Classic bikes for 10 years and usually ride tuned rocketships on the road - such as my highly worked on '59 BSA A10. They need a lot of spanner work though, so I fancied adding to my stable a modern, reliable, 'sensible' bike - and bought a lovely 2012 Street Triple. Much to my surprise it really grew on me, and the missus loves going out on it too. A very nice bike (apart from the bloody uncomfy seat!).
    Anyway, enough rattling on from me, will no doubt post the odd question from time to.

    Hello T20 and welcome to the forum :)

    Similar to yourself my first bike on the road was a Tiger Cub but in 1966.

    I enjoy the Classic race scene and go to a few CRMC events each year, hopefully the next one will be the Donington Park 3day classic racing festival :cool:

    I've raced my '67 T20 Suzuki and' 80 TZ350 at that meeting several times. Was hoping to make it this year, but unfortunately won't have my bikes ready in time. Next year....

    Nitrided crank with SRM end oil feed conversion, polished rods, high comp pistons, high rise cam, gas flowed head, belt drive dynamo, belt drive primary drive, Suzuki GT750 4LS front and rear brakes (with race linings), plus plenty more
    Owned, ridden and modified since 1983.

    The GT550/750 front brake - nobody liked it, nobody wanted it, but put some Ferodo green linings in it and it became a real tyre squealer. Brilliant piece of kit, even if it took a bit of patience to set it up correctly.
    Oh yes ... welcome in T20racerman - the Super Six was one of my dream bikes when I were a lad. One of my classmates had a T200 Invader - nice!
