    Hi guys & gals,
A big Gidday to you all.
I ride a 2017 T100 as a daily commuter and apart from rust coming through the chrome on the front wheel / spokes, I love it.
Here’s a picture of my baby.

Thanks Ron, the best part of my days is either riding to work or riding home and the T100 has a lot to do with it.

Welcome to the Family. Nice people here will gets loads of friends with that picture. Your wheels get a wax polish and try that for the rust seems to keep mine clean and mine is a 2010 model.

Hi Joe, thanks to you and everyone for the welcome.

Thanks also for the suggestion on the rust problem, if it was surface rust it possibly could work, I’ll include a closeup picture of the rust on one of the spokes which shows the rust bubbling the chrome which means it’s in the metal and not just surface rust.

    Philip.
See what you mean. Is your bike still in warranty. If it is do some shouting at your local dealer. Or if not clean it of with some fine wire wool and wax it may help it not look so bad. Really is a poor effort from Triumph.

    Joe.

Thanks Joe, already done the shouting, even though the dealer agrees, Triumph Australia and Triumph head office in England say its caused from not cleaning the bike so it’s not covered under warranty.

Thanks Bikerman, between work and family I plan on checking out this forum, already found the jokes pages, which I’m loving, it’s actually a breath of fresh air to find a forum that you can mention the rust and actually get someone to talk to about it without the moderators shutting it down as I’ve found with at least one triumph forum in Australia.
