Hi Dougie welcome to the jungle. A great first bike, but take your time getting to know it cause believe me give it anything above 7-8000 revs and you will be flying. Have fun.

Hi Dougie and welcome to the Triumph Asylum - lovely bike you're getting, need to see pics when it arrives.

As others have said, the Street Triple R is a properly quick bike so please do take it steady for a while. You'll be surprised just how quick these bikes can be by comparison to just about ANY car.

    Hi Dougie,
Its all about experiance, confedence and awareness , Its somthing that comes with time. You have to gain all three. Passing your test is the easy part compared to some one the clowns your going to meet out on the road. So as said, Take your time.

My Su has an MT07, what an amazing little bike. Fitted some lower bars on it for her that helped it in the bends and a noisy pipe we got in the deal :)

    Welcome Dougie.

Great bike. Owned one myself and can confirm they proper go. Easy to ride too and handle great. If it's second hand, might be an idea to return all the suspension settings back to standard. Triumph development riders are well known for being some of the best in the business and they come very well set up out of the crate.
