Hello all - new to the forum - just retired and am treating myself to a new T120. Deposit paid and availability around 30 June or thereabouts - can't wait !
This will be my first Triumph in over 45 years of biking - previous bikes include Honda (CB400F, CB400 Super Dream, CBF1000, NC750X), Yamaha (DT125, Diversion, Fazer), Kawasaki (KL250), Suzuki (Katana 650), BMW (R850R), Guzzi (California 1100i) plus a couple of old Brits (Norton 500SS, BSA C15) plus a couple of MZ's.
Really looking forward to purely pleasure riding instead of a 14k per year commute I've been doing for the last 30 years !
    Cheers,
    Chris

Al - yeah the SS was a good bike, but my girlfriend at the time (I was only 19 so didn't know any better) wasn't keen on bikes, so I sold it and bought a Zodiac. Girlfriend long gone, but I wish I still had the SS (and the Zodiac, come to that !).

Hi Mr T welcome its a shame about the wait for your new bike, you could not have picked a better forum to join, enjoy your free time now you are retired and if you ever get bored come on here, interested in cars, bikes, trains, tanks, aeroplanes etc etc.

Hi and welcome - agree with HT about the wait and patience - I only had to wait a week for the Tiger and that was bad enough!

My first four wheeler was a Consul Cortina, column change and A BENCH SEAT, the best thing ever invented for a hot blooded teenager.

The Consul was not as wide as Zodiac so you had to have one of the front doors open:D:D:D:D
