So I’m a total newbie to Triumph. I have a 03 Daytona with a high stock carbon pipe. It has 9470 miles so I am taking it in for a valve adjustment and a K and N. When I get it back I’m going one tooth down in the front as this bike is a dog down low and mid range but I bought it because it’s beautiful and I was told with some minor tweaks it will never be my Gixxer or my 954 but will be a suitable second bike. My question is this: what flash tune from whom can get some bottom and mid range end out of this thing? I really don’t want to spend money in a tuner as it’s a second bike but I will if I have to because I love the look of this bike, is this SAI removal worth the trouble and how does it make the bike better. Keep in mind my other Bike is a 2000 ZX12R with zero mods except 1 tooth down in the front, 1900 miles on it and it’s a torque machine as all my bikes have been compared to this. Basically how to I make this bike fun?
