I’d like to stop getting emails alerting me to any replies/quotes etc that just keep clogging my junk mail box but don’t mind having the little flag show me someone has added to a post I’ve been on etc. I’ve had a look in preferences and changed a few things but all I’ve managed to do is stop the flagged alerts and keep the emails (somehow). I look at the forum everyday so don’t need the emails to tell me there’s been a response. Can this be done? Cheers.

Use an old email address that you no longer open. I do it that way

Click on you profile photo right at the top and then click Alert preferences.
The email reply preferences are set there.

Log in. Go to your own profile and blank all the alert preference boxes

Did that and I still get emails. I’m permanently logged in.
What I want is to stop emails but keep the little flag alert at the top of the page. Mods, admin???

I had this problem, I found that I needed to go to each thread that I was getting alerts from and unwatch each one

The blanket, stop all alerts in settings didn't work upload_2018-4-13_9-23-3.png

you could try the "ignore sender" or equivalent in the email settings of your email provider

Hi Yorkie, if you look at the e-mail alert that arrives in your box (fnar fnar!) you'll see at the bottom of it an option to "disable e-mails from this thread" - that'll sort it !!!
