I pushed it backwards but there is a little leak. Now I will need to do one plate at a time to check if it will close the gap. I had to be careful as the screws on them are super soft!
Ive been racking my brain all morning on this one, finally got what I think is the engineering solution. A big diameter jubilee clip on top of your helmet and under your chin tightened with a thumbscrew so it can be adjusted to suit any speed. Well chuffed with that, just shows you, always a solution if you put your mind to it.
Funny enough thats exactly what my wife says. Which reminds me I need a new pulley for the block & tackle in the master bedroom.
A much neater idea is to have a adjustable strap and clip it to your jacket zip and chin bar of your helmet as this will also stop the zip falling down
Wonderful ideas. Can you imagine falling off the bike with the bloody helmet strap attached to my clothing zips. I think I'll will standing there with nothing on except my lid. Who knows I might end up being the star on YouTube.
