Hello!

I have owned and ridden motorcycles for awhile. Started out with Yamaha650 twins then BMW airheads now FJRs Recently I happened across a new2017 Thruxton R. Had to have it love the bike! Pretty serious relearning curve haven’t had Chain drive since 81. I am catching on fast and what a great experience riding an un faired bike again! Thanks for having me!

Rocket is just that! Noticed the taillights from my FJR cockpit as it disappeared over the horizon!

 

My baby Ruby which now has a flat rear tire from burning up Texas hill country but Michelin to the rescue! Road 6s on the way!

Sure is a nice bike. Bummer on the flat but getting some decent rubber on there can only be a good thing. Thanks for sharing the great picture.

I got this bike in November this year. Had been languishing at dealer since 2017 was not real crazy about the Pirelli Diablos that were on it. So the diablos were almost 6 years old. So there you are… My old lady said GET New TIRES … can’t argue with that logic!
