Hi I am Helen Joined as I am trying to get help to find the owner of my grandfathers 1921 Triumph 500cc reg AC3648. Last V5 date 1989. any help appreciated have pictures
Hi thank you for the kind welcomes. this pic is my grandad riding it in the 1940’s or 50’s, I have some newspaper articles I think he’s on the same bike in those soon as I find them I will post them. He lived in Birmingham Eric R Oliver.
Helen. Are you a biker or just searching welcome to the family anyway. First thing check DVLA see if the reg still exists. Then if it does the TOMCC try to pass on messages but it costs around a tenner. Also there are mags and clubs that do try to see if a particular bike still exists. Some great pictures there. Hi my son is the biker, he owns my dads BSA Bantam 175, along with a Yamaha 600 xj he rebuilt that my husband owned for years, he has a fire blade, and when he saw the photo of my grandad his great grandad he checked the DVLA and it said not tax mot etc which we expected but it didn’t say scrapped it just said as per my first post last registration was 1989. My son is keen to get the bike if it still exists maybe in the back on someone’s shed in pieces or otherwise.
