Probably pre-registered to hit month-end or quarter-end targets, that and the new Speed due in very soon. Nice way to get a good deal on a cracking bike.

Thanks to all for the warm reception. The bike I'm getting is a Speed Triple R in matt graphite grey, registered in January and I couldn't refuse at £9999. It's being delivered on Friday and they will take my trade in away, a Yamaha MT09 that I couldn't get on with, don't know why. I had a 2010 Street Triple before that so decided to go for the bigger one this time. Will post pics when it arrives. Cheers all, Matt
£10k is a good deal, my 2016 'R' cost £9,500 with 4,000 miles on the clock last year and 8 months old Spend £37 on a Denali Split Sound bomb so you are heard, a horn worthy of the Speed Triple...and £100 on a Scottoiler ,
Didn't get on with my MT09 either. Had it just under a year, very snatch throttle, very basic suspension, always felt unsettled, which was a shame. Bought. Thruxton R instead. Completely different animal, but at a completely different price to be fair. Enjoy your new ride once the snow melts & the salt has been washed away
Finally took some photos, 500 mile service done today at A1 Moto. Puig screen and grab rail for luggage attachment fitted and pillion pegs removed.
