Great Forum, thanks for all the information here. Good to have a place like this to find information and to discuss. I feel this works better then Facebook, because here people seems more interested in actual helping. I live in Stavanger, witch in on the west coast of Norway. I work as an motorcycle instructor, and love it. My school bikes are Honda CB650, CB500 and Yamaha MT125, but privately I ride a Tiger Explorer 1200 XCA from 2017, and I’m working on a Bonneville from 1969.
Hi and welcome to the forum. I sailed into Stavanger from Newcastle a few years ago and rode down to Kristiansand before heading into the mountains. I loved touring in Norway, lovely roads and scenery. Enjoy the forum
Nice, yes I ember the ferry, but that has sadly been cancelled So now I have to go to Calais in France to get to the UK!! Hoping they will bring it back... We do have some great roads in the mountains here And where I live, there is almost no winter weather, so I can basically ride all year around
Yep it was a real shame when they stopped the ferry out of Newcastle. You are very lucky to have such good roads and that you can ride all year round.

Hi, Nordfjordeid is a great place, and so are the surroundings there Me, hope they do!! I love the north of UK as well, but at least I have mye fjords and mountains here
