Hello from Halesowen

Hi,

I just thought I'd introduce myself as I've just become the proud owner of a gorgeous 2014 Speed Triple in diablo red!

This is my first Triumph, after deciding I'm over the Japanese sports bike thing (plus I didn't want to look like a power ranger anymore!).

Oh that looks nice, heated grips are a must. oxford do the best and easy to fit

 

If you look in the Speed Triple section my mate has just lowered his head lights if you want a meaner look to the front.

 

I've had those on previous bikes. My next purchase!

I have Oxford Sports Premium heated grips on mine and it does the job.

But if you really have sensitive hands to cold then look into heated gloves. I had the EXo2, while it did the job of keeping my hands warm, I found it difficult to feel the controls and I didn't get on well with all those wires running from me to the bike :-(

 

Thanks crispey. I'm coping so far! I used to commute all year round so it's not too bad!

 

These days I don't have to commute in crap weather, so I tend to make do with glove liners.

I've been riding since the early nineties so I've learned to "toughen up" over the years!

Hi nick welcome to the forum mate, great looking bike, i have the twin scorpions on my bike but love the lowboy look as well , i have just lowered the headlights on my bike which i think gives a more aggressive look
