    It's less than 6 miles away and makes a very convenient meeting point that most people seem to know about. I'm amazed at how far people come for a cup of tea!

    The teashop in Finchingfield is another favourite - they're both great spots for talking bikes :)

    That's good to hear!

    I don't believe bikes are at all dangerous, (maybe riding beyond ability is what catches most 'dangerous' people out!), infact I much prefer being on a bike than in my Transit. I just feel a lot more free, and besides the fact you can avoid hazards much easier! And traffic :D
    It's the other idiots we have to watch out for, like the mobile phone users you have mentioned above.

    I live in Bury St Edmunds so it's a good ride and many different ways down there. Went down there when I was seventeen and lived in Hornchurch, La Sorcerier then the Bee Hive Ilford and maybe on to the Ace on a Mid Week ride. Far less traffic.

    Hi Mr Triple, welcome to the forum, I'm sorry for being a thick git, but being old Skool I don't know what IAMS is? When I hear it I think of dog and cat food :D:D. I take it its a training course of some kind . It just makes me laugh when I read IAM Training . Sounds like a course on how to feed your pet .:D:D

    I think, I am also from Essex! But I escaped to Germany, where I aquired the local accent and am now preparing to take over Lego-Land-Bavaria.
    But I am still kraut-funding for more tanks and such.
    Ade is going to aid he said, mounting a twin gatling on top of his GS's cylinders!

    What a sight!

    Anyway, enjoy the forum. It's a pretty cosy place :D
