I am sure you are all fed up with newbies saying hello look at me and my bike.... but I'm doing just that not really one for forums, I'm certainly not one for getting together with loads of others on bikes and riding from A to B via C and D just as a club outing.... My bike is both a workhorse to get me where I want to go .. and a hobby in the maintenance of it......but there is so much practical knowledge on here that I'd be a fool not to join I've been riding since 1976 on a variety of bikes - mostly Jap i'm afraid... but in 2004 i got my first Triumph - a brand new black 2004 Bonneville.. loved it to bits... trouble was someone else loved it more and stole it in 2009 After that I went to look at a 2001 Sprint RS - the 955 engine with 13,000 miles on the clock and was blown away by it... so it came home with me... I still have it, quite a bit of TLC to get it how I wanted and it still puts a huge smile on my face after 46 K miles

Don’t worry Chris. You are already showing yourself to be more convivial than most of the curmudgeons on here...... I suspect most are on here for exactly the same reasons. Who’d have us?

ChrisJHuff. Welcome to the family. Great intro and what a gem that RS is. We never get tired of Bike chat our new riders of Triumph or indeed any Bike.
