    Thought I would introduce myself my name is mick I am 46 and from Barnsley .been riding off road bikes for years but have recently got my full licence .only bike at the moment is my restoration project 1986 xr 600 , just sold a 250 ktm and am on the look out for a 955i Tiger

    You cannot go wrong with any Tiger.

    Do go and have a ride of some different bikes to see which suit you on the road.

    Do take it easy, road and off road are so different.

    I am afraid budget will be the deciding factor what model Tiger I buy .I would love the 800 xc but they are way too expensive for me

    Hi and welcome to the forum, seen quite a few Tiger 955i 's on e-bay some decent high mileage ones going for about £1600.00. In fact there is a black one near to me in Coalville which looks nice (she who must be obeyed has already said no lol)

    Really? Mine has given up on that front although I am sorted of limited by garage space :wink:...... For the moment.

    Some nice ones do keep popping up I missed out on a 24000 mile black one in bolton a while ago .but I will keep looking
