765 Heated Grips

    Did all street triple rs come with heated grips?

    No they are an extra, the Triumph ones are best as they neatly wire in to the harness, also they are push button operated through the left hand grip, and also linked to the TFT dash with a 3 colour coded graphic, and they automatically switch off when the ignition is turned off.

    Do you just buy triumph heated grips and are they easy to fit?

    Hi Baz, fairly easy to fit they take about 2 hours in total, there are comprehensive installation instructions to follow, given that Triumph Dealers are now charging £100 per hour plus VAT it makes sense to fit them yourself.

    The tank needs removed to access the plug, you can get away with just raising the front sometimes to save disconnecting the fuel line. hardest bit I always found was threading the cables through the bars. A bit of silicone spray helps.
