So I've had my Triumph Explorer for a few months and as the temperature has dropped I'm realizing how ineffective the heated grips are. On the higher setting I can hold the grips barehanded without feeling any discomfort. Which explains why even now in a relatively warm weather, my hands are getting cold. I have ordered new gloves to try and stave off the inevitable but as an all year commuter I'm wondering if there is a known problem or an easy fix?
I had Datatool grips on my old bike which were far superior, anyone know how easy it is to swap out the Triumph grips for after-market ones?
