Evening all, just a quick query. I ride a speed 94 and don't find the headlights very bright, is this common? Compared to my 60 plate street r the headlights are poor. Any suggestions anyone.
    Thanks Ali

    Welcome Ali
I went for Philips WhiteVision, as the name implies I was going for the look (and being seen) rather than out and out performance as I don't do very much night riding. Philips also claim better life.
Ade's suggestions are probably slightly better for seeing with (but maybe shorter life).

The Street and Speed light units are identical so must be down to bulbs or beam adjustment.
    (correction - only 2012> Streets)

Thanks for your replies, during the summer I really enjoy taking my bike to work over the country roads and when I finish late at night very early in the morning it's pitch dark, I have even been tempted with an hid kit as it's that poor. Never had any complaints when I had my street. I didn't think they could be so different. Love the bike though

I upgraded to Osram Nightbreaker bulbs, they seem to be doing the job far better than the stock bulbs

This has been another helpful suggestion from Stevethegoolie Productions. There may be others just waiting to be unleashed on an unsuspecting world:eek: - assuming I can be bothered!:p

Thanks again for all the help, I'll check the headlight alignment first then if I'm still not happy I'll try replacing the bulbs starting with Osram nightbreaker as they've been reccomended the most.
    Thanks Ali
