I have just been out in the dark on my street twin, and on low beam the visibility was zero! The lower bulb was illuminated but giving no light on the road, so I had to ride on full beam which was annoying oncoming cars ( understandably)
    Does anyone have any ideas?
My rides up to now have been in the daylight so I don’t know if this is how it has always been!
    Thank you.

I have a Street Scrambler which I believe has the same headlight. Sounds like the low beam filament in the H4 bulb may have gone. The "lower bulb" in the headlight is just a low power side/marker light and not meant to throw any appreciable light forwards.I fitted a LED H4 bulb which certainly improved lighting power.

Thank you, that all makes sense. I’ll look out for an led H4 bulb.

Can I ask where you went for the LED bulb, and did you change just the one or both bulbs?
